Taylor / Pietta 1858 Remington Army Black Powder Revolver .36 Caliber 6.5" Barrel Walnut Two-Piece Grips, Brass Frame
The 1858 Remington became so famous that it was the prevailing choice of military officers following the Civil War. Its full-frame design still makes it a top choice for black powder shooters today as the cylinder can be removed without taking the firearm completely apart, unlike the Colt models. The brass frame remington features a brass frame & triggerguard, octagonal barrel, front blade sight, and walnut two-piece grips. The brass parts can be kept polished with metal cleaners like Flitz. Taylor's does not recommend using conversion cylinders in brass frame models.
