Federal Primers Small Rifle #205 Box of 1000
Small Rifle primers can safely be use in most pistol loads with no problems, it is some times recommened that you reduce your load slighty. High pressure rounds like 357 mag and .40 S&W do just fine with small rifle primers. The cups are thicker than pistol primers so if you have a very weak strike , it may not work reliably, but I have never had any issues and used rifle primers in many pistols loads for many years.
