The diameters of the round balls and conicals is a perfect fit for my Uberti 1849 pocket pistol. Just large enough for a small shaving when the rounds are pressed into the cylinder. The round ball sprue cut is much more smooth than round balls I purchased. The conical height looks about right to rotate under the press. I'll check that out soon.
I had never used a bullet mold before but using this one was a cinch. I melted old plumbing lead in a steel pot on my Coleman stove. Then used a small steel dipper to dip the lead into the mold which was sitting flat on a metal work table. I whacked the sprue cutter with a piece of wood and opened up the mold. In just a short time I produced several dozen perfect bullets conicals and round balls.
I did not have any defective bullets. I wore heavy leather gloves while making the bullets. It was an easy job and the pretty little mold performed flawlessly.
